All About Irene Shor, Esq. in Monmouth County

Irene Shor, Esq. is originally from New York City, having attended Binghamton University for her Undergraduate Degree from 1993-1997. Irene graduated with a major in Literature and Rhetoric, which is the art of writing and public speaking, as well as a minor in Russian language and literature. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, she attended law school at Rutgers University Camden School of Law. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate in the year 2000 at the age of 24. The most important aspect to know about Irene Shor, Esq. in Monmouth County, is her love for the law. With her passion for litigation and family law, Irene secured a highly sought-after clerkship with the Honorable James B. Convery, who was the lead matrimonial judge in Essex County, New Jersey, at the time. Following her intensive clerkship, Irene practiced family law first in New York City, then in North Jersey, until she made her home in Monmouth County.

With 20 years of practice, in 2020, Irene decided to take her knowledge and experience with her to her new firm: Irene Shor, Esq. LLC. Here, she offers a personalized brand of service where every client has access to her when needed, with a focus on individual attention. Irene has served as an early settlement panelist for years for the Monmouth County Bar Association, as well as an intensive settlement panelist at the request of the courts. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Monmouth County Bar Association and sits on the Family Law Committee for the latter. Irene is married to Alex Shor, a local dentist and founder of Bella Dental. The two are celebrating 20 years of marriage this year. They have a 17-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son and enjoy spending time together hiking, jogging, kayaking, and traveling. Irene brings her strong family values to her practice and welcomes you to her firm.
