ABOUT THIS EVENT
From July 27-30, 2021, distinguished panelists from government, industry, private law practice, and academia will convene to participate in the Public Contract Law Section Virtual Annual Meeting. The Virtual Annual Meeting provides registrants with access to CLE programs presented in an on-line format. You may participate in all of the sessions that interest you, either live or at a later time more convenient for you. Circumstances may prevent us from meeting in person, but a virtual format enables us to share the knowledge of our expert panelists and exchange views across a much wider audience.

The Annual Meeting offers attendees a unique opportunity to hear from key stakeholders in our public contracting community. This year’s meeting will kick-off with a fireside chat on Tuesday, July 27, on Government and Industry General Counsel on Facing Challenges Now and in the Future featuring with Maj Gen (ret.) Thomas Ayres, the 24th General Counsel of the U.S. Air Force and 1st General Counsel of the U.S. Space Force, and Steven Mahon, the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of SAIC Washington, DC.
Our Annual Meeting program will also feature panels with experts addressing the following topics:

Our programming will conclude on Friday, July 30th with the Ruth C. Burg Keynote Address featuring Judy Perry Martinez, Immediate Past President of the American Bar Association, and former Northrop Grumman Co. Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer and member of the company's Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council. who will discuss past and future challenges and opportunities faced by those across the legal profession.
We will continue the opportunity to engage and learn from fellow public contract professionals on Saturday, August 7, 2021 when our Section Council will meet in open session to not only learn more about the Section's business, but also to engage in thoughtful discussion of current issues important to government contract practitioners.
