About Me
James Holliday was born in Orlando and grew up in nearby Longwood where he graduated from Lake Brantley High School. Wanting to serve his country and pay his own way through college, James competed with candidates across the State for an ROTC scholarship. The U.S. Army awarded Jim a full academic scholarship to attend Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. During college, Jim was honored by being chosen to lead others in various capacities: Chairman of Stetson’s Orientation Program, Chairman for United Way Fundraiser, ROTC Company Commander, served on Stetson’s mock trial team and was the social chairman of his fraternity. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Stetson University in 1990 and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. James went on to serve in the Transportation Corps where he was described by his superior officers as “an intelligent, motivated and energetic officer.
Following the Gulf War, James was admitted to Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. During law school, James interned for the United States Attorney office in Tampa, Florida, and provided litigation support at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. During law school, he won Best Moot Court Brief and “booked” (highest grade in class) his Torts (Personal Injury) class. He graduated from law school with honors in 1994.
James has built his reputation as a relentless trial lawyer for his work ethic and thorough preparation for trial.
James Holliday has been selected and named as one of the “Best Attorney” Lifetime Charter Members in Florida. Less than one percent (1%) of the attorneys of America have been invited to be a member. Membership is extremely selective, carefully screened, and limited to the most qualified and accomplished attorneys in the United States. He has been selected as one of A America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators and is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
By helping injured people in the community, he has demonstrated a dedication to finding the truth and delivering justice for his clients. He is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates, Top 100 Lawyers in America, National Trial Lawyers, American Association for Justice, and the Florida Justice Association.
