Thomas S. Carter began his legal career in Washington D.C. in 2007 before joining the Law Offices of Ronald T. Vera in Claremont as an Associate Attorney. At Vera & Barbosa Law Offices, Mr. Carter was privy to representation of local business, educational institutions, municipalities and non-profits in the position “Of Counsel”. In 2011, Mr. Carter garnered the position of General Counsel to NationalLink, one of the largest independent ATM companies in the West.
Mr. Carter successfully launched his own Business Law practice in 2014 representing companies, institutions, industries, partnerships, franchises, startups and individuals within the San Bernardino and Eastern Los Angeles Counties. Tom’s focus continues to be on Commercial Litigation, Business Transactions, Employer Defense, Contracts (Breach of, Negotiations and Drafting), Business Disputes, Buying & Selling Businesses and more. He and his Team deliver on doing their due diligence for their clients in dealing with legal challenges from mergers & acquisitions to regulatory requirements.
With his gained legal skills and business acumen, Tom Carter can effectively handle the duties of an “in-house” company attorney for any business. Many clients continue being represented by Mr. Carter primarily due to his professionalism, one on one communication style and tenacity on their behalf.
Thomas S. Carter was born in Covina, grew up and now resides in Claremont. Mr. Carter is a member of the California State Bar, Washington State Bar and District of Columbia Bar.
