Our firm primarily handles real estate and estate planning. What does that mean?
Real estate encompasses deeds, reviewing of buy/sell agreements, review of loan documents and neighbor disputes.
Estate Planning sounds like a great phrase, but it means a lot of things! It includes inheritance, wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, health care power of attorney and living will. It also includes probate, which is taking deceased one’s assets through the court process so that they may be rightfully titled. Finally, there are also tax planning techniques (sometimes called asset planning) so that you may transfer your assets to your beneficiaries while minimizing tax issues-it means your beneficiary gets more assets, less to government spending!
