About Me
Most attorney bios all sound the same. Formal, distant, and a little forgettable. That has never really felt like me.
I grew up in Colorado Springs, played tennis in high school, and spent two years in the Dominican Republic as a missionary. That experience led me to law because I knew I wanted a career centered on helping people.
I went on to study at BYU, then moved my young family to San Francisco for law school. After passing the bar, I spent nearly a decade representing people in asbestos litigation. Real people with real stories. That work shaped how I see this profession. Being a good attorney is not just about skill; it is about genuinely caring.
Eventually, we moved back to Colorado, where I worked in estate planning before starting my own firm.
I take my work seriously, but I also believe relationships matter. Estate planning can be personal and sometimes uncomfortable. My goal is to make that process easier by being someone clients can actually connect with, not just another name behind a desk.
