Both of Brent’s grandfathers worked in construction, and Chip began working for his father’s construction company at the age of 14, later earning a Bachelor of Building Construction from UF and a General Contractor’s license from the State of Florida. After working for two of Jacksonville’s largest commercial contractors and obtaining his law degree, he has practiced continuously in Jacksonville since 1987, focusing exclusively on construction disputes.
A Board Certified Construction Lawyer, Chip carries Martindale-Hubbell’s “AV” rating and Preeminent Lawyer status and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America and Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite.
