Due to increasing demands from the Federal government, groups like MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers), and pressure from the public, the legislatures and the Courts have reacted by making the penalties for DWI ever harsher, and have continued to make defense of DWI / DUI cases more and more difficult.
Mr. Cain began working in 2001 as an Assistant District Attorney (prosecutor) at the District Attorney's Office in Las Cruces, where he worked for three and one-half years. During that time, he prosecuted the majority of DWI cases in that office. Also, he was trained and certified at the Las Cruces Police Department in 2002 on the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST's). This, along with his continued research and education on the changing laws, have given him a wealth of experience from which to draw to defend your case. less
