This perspective enables her to empower her clients, helping them to understand and feel comfortable with the special education system, including the often misunderstood legal aspects. Kelly's goal is to give children and parents a voice in what can otherwise be a challenging and confusing process.
Kelly holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from SLU and a Missouri teaching certificate issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). With relatives with developmental disabilities, and a mother who has taught special education for over 20 years, Kelly was introduced to the special education field at a very young age.
